Mary Eckstein, Regional Trainer, Old Dominion University

Mary became involved with YOVASO during her senior year at Tunstall High School after being involved in a car crash within months of getting her driver’s license.  With her seat belt and low speed saving her life, Mary realized she was fortunate; and she wanted to share her experience with others.  In addition to her own crash, Mary had several friends that were involved in terrible crashes as well.  Indeed, she realizes the impact of this significant problem.

Mary is a sophmore at Old Dominion University where she is majoring in Dental Hygiene.
