Hilliary
Parrish is a 2008 graduate of Tunstall High School in Dry Fork,VA.She got involved with the YOVASO organization
during her sophomore year of high school and was President of the club her
Senior year. Hilliary helped her club organize seatbelt checks, t-shirt throws
at games, and mock tails at after prom; just to name a few . She attended the
2008 Leadership Retreat at Liberty University which is when she decided she
wanted to get more involved with YOVASO in a bigger way and become a Regional
Trainer. As a Regional Trainer, she has gotten to experience many different
YOVASO sponsored events and she feels that she will never be able to learn
enough from this program. “The program has been a blessing to be a part of and
thanks to the many people who constantly stay involved with keeping the program
alive; I can in turn help enrich the lives of youth all around the state of
Virginia and that is a huge accomplishment in and of itself.”
Hilliary
currently attends Patrick Henry Community College in Martinsville,VAwhere she is finishing her final
pre-requisites for the Registered Nursing program which she will be starting in
Fall 2011. Her plans after school are to work in labor and delivery or
pediatrics. In her spare time she works
at Old Navy in Danville,VA, plays tennis, and studies like crazy. She lives at
home with her parents, Marc and Kathy, her older brother; Matt, her Yorkie;
Bailey, and her two cats; Toby and Milo.
